Pranab received his PhD in condensed matter physics from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore. Primarily being an experimental physicist, he finds contemporary simulation methods and, in general, high-performance computing methodologies to be overly complex. Besides his roles at NUS, he is undertaking the challenge of integrating complex computational models into the Mat3ra platform so they can even be used by experimentalists and users who are not experts yet.
