On August 2, we hosted another A.I. 2 Science Happy Hour at Social Bird in Lafayette, California — a casual gathering for people interested in the intersection of artificial intelligence and science.
The event brought together researchers, builders, and community members for an afternoon of informal conversation, connecting people across materials science, AI, and neighboring fields. As with previous meetups, the relaxed format gave everyone room to trade ideas, discuss ongoing projects, and get to know others working at the boundary of science and computation.
A.I. 2 Science Happy Hour continues to grow as a recurring space for open, cross-disciplinary conversation — from materials science and chemistry to biology and beyond. Rather than a formal conference format, the goal is simply to create room for genuine exchange and new connections to form naturally.
